Tiger Woods PGA 2012 review for PS3 with move support

Right here is a review for Tiger Woods PGA 2012 for PS3 from a golfer’s viewpoint with the Go controller. Best golf simulation to play during the cold period to prepare by yourself for the summer time! You are going to get a great exercise routine from this sport as well! I have played a couple of rounds and I’m aching previously, just like the real thing! Considerably better than actively playing with the regular controller! Note: ever since my online video, I have observed a lot far more DLC for equipments, classes, alternatives, and many others! Tiger Woods PGA 2012 Collector’s edition is made by EA Sports activities. Playstation Shift, Playstation Eye and PS3 are all created by Sony.

Good review. Very strange at 3:07. TW13 (at least on my system) will not perform that movement. How can it model a swing properly if that plane is not sampled! EA appear to have put all their effort into game chrome concerning on-line money-making schemes.

there is no need to get the 2013 version if you already got 2012..

Hi! I used to buy several TW games in consecutive years, but I’ve stopped that trend. My next purchase will be when I’m sure the next jump is big enough in terms of controls, like true 1 to 1 motion controls. EA also has to improve the mecanics of the swing. After playing for a year, I can now see faults in the way they capture the swing. EA, if you read this: try to memorize the standard position of the move and on the swing back, stop capturing at the same spot (Not any further than that)

is it worth it to get PGA tour 13 ($60), or do i just get 12. which is worth my money. btw im using move

Hi! I also did buy John Daly golf game. After toying with the game a little bit, I did like the swing mechanics, which felt more real, however, the lack of polish of that game turned me off. I remember that I found the menus weren’t intuitive. Also, the game isn’t very nice looking. Ideally, Tiger Woods PGA Tour would use a 1:1 motion capture system to make the swing life-accurate. I don’t care if I get a bad score. At least it’ll feel real and will force me to improve.

    wow average swing bro

  11. mike marley says:

Hey man great review. I bought the john daly game its okay but this looks better the swing on the range seems much more realistic ie club path etc. Would you recommend this? cheers

Hi! Having also played with the PS eye below the TV without a problem, I can suggest only three things:

    1) Make sure your PS eye is set at the wide angle

    2) Stand back so that the PS eye can see your whole body.

    3) Put the PS eye above your TV (I doubt it makes a difference though)

I doubt that you have any objects blocking your PS eye view, since you tell me that half of your swings do register. Aside from the 3 tips above, I can’t think of anything else to help you out.

  13. MegaProRacer says:

hey so i set up my eye below the tv and so im playing more the half of the time when i swing my move it just keeps on saying out of view and i dont know if im doing the process wrong or theres something wrong with the eye
i was standing just the way u were and also swing it like u

Concerning accuracy, I also tried placing the camera both below the TV and above it and it seems like they’re about the same. I just prefer having it above the TV so that when I’m standing, my image is not looking like an image taken from the ground up.

Hi! I actually bought the camera clip for the PS Eye. It’s nothing really special, but it keeps the camera up there in a stable manner. I bought it long ago, but I think there’s several companies who make similar clips for less now. If you’re not sure yet as to which position is best for the camera, you can also simply let the camera “hang” above your TV. The trick is simple to do, since you simply need to put the camera in front and let the wire hang behind the TV.

    wrong

Awesome review. Thx for the info

  18. SilentBob420BMFJ says:

How did you attach your camera? We have a similar setup, and I tried below the TV and above, and both seem to be odd, like the camera doesn’t want to stay. Also, I can’t tell accuracy wise which is better, top or bottom. I have to adjust my camera for each game, to make it point up or down, since it tells me I’m off screen (vertically) often. And I’m 6’3″ too.

Hi guitarsnstuff93422, if you mean like going over 100% power, then no, I’ve never actually powered up with the Move. I’ve looked a little bit on the net and I think you can’t do that with the move. I’ve read that you can perfect your swing to get to 100% and some people say that by tapping the trigger button and the X button, that it helps to get to 100%, but I could not find anything on going over 100% power. Maybe it’s EA’S way to make it more realistic.

  20. guitarsnstuff93422 says:

What do you do to get extra power? The move does not allow you to power up your drive. Can I use my person in 2012 from 2011. Do I have to build another golfer again?

    Thanks

  21. AUSPGAGOLF says:

the way qtvo stands is actually the correct way to stand i do not know where u got your methods from but anyway check your facts before you say stuff

  22. 1977Futre says:

LOL im aching on my arms and back like the real thing so thats cool heheh. Great review man , good stuff.

  23. qtvo says:

Hi! Your comment made me curious and I tried being parallel to the TV, but it doesn’t change anything to the swing. I’ve played 80+ games with the Move in that position already and it works. I think it’s more of a preference thing in this case, since I ended up having the same swing for both methods. I simply prefer to look at the screen towards the end of my swing, to simulate looking at the ball like in real golf. But thanks for the suggestion. At least, I’ve tried it.

  24. Markpt113 says:

You do not stand in front of the TV in that direction…you need to be facing parallel to the tv…hence why you keep getting “Out Of View” signals from your controller. It will help you out tremendously.

  25. qtvo says:

Regarding the 2011 button mapping, I do not remember seeing any options to switch between button configurations. Note that I use the Move most of the time and are not that familiar with other options…

Lastly, I don’t think there’s an option for multiple-game rounds for multiplayers. I might be wrong, since it’s feasible within the career mode…but I did not see the option for multiplayers.

    I hope this helps!
